Sam Wróbel of Sparrow Papercraft is the featured artist for the month of October at Gallery R in Lafayette, LA. Sam Wróbel is a folk artist specializing in the Polish papercutting tradition of wycinanki. Sam’s works are a blend of traditional Polish motifs and inspiration from the vibrant culture and natural beauty of SW Louisiana, where they live. Many new works will be available for sale. The reception is during Lafayette’s October ArtWalk event, from 6pm-9pm at Gallery R, 116 E Congress St Lafayette, LA 70501. The artist will be present at the reception. Those attending are asked to please wear a mask. The show will remain up until the last week of October. Any sold pieces will be shipped/delivered to the buyer after October 27.
